About the Rich Report
Enhanced financial planning and investing concepts for growth-oriented Canadians.
In this blog, you’ll read about ‘enhanced financial planning concepts for growth-oriented Canadians’.
What does this mean?
It means answering the foundational questions about retirement and other major life goals, including:
When can I retire?
How much do I need to retire?
How much do I need to save?
When should I take CPP?
And so on…
While these questions are important, we move beyond these questions, focusing on optimizing your financial situation and navigating your financial journey confidently. So we also discuss such questions as:
How can I retire sooner?
How can I reduce income taxes more effectively, while growing savings faster?
How do I become mortgage free sooner, while ensuring enough to retire with?
How can I manage investments, rental properties or a business to my best advantage?
How can I do all this while simplifying my situation and achieving financial peace of mind?
How do I optimize my succession planning to pay less tax, and leave more for my loved ones?
We move beyond the conventional ‘RRSP vs TFSA’ to focus on enhanced options.
Typically high earning professionals, business owners or aspiring entrepreneurs, and investment property owners will get the most out of The Rich Report. But everyone is welcome here to learn and ultimately, I'd love to see everyone interested live their best life through enhanced financial planning.

Personal Financial Planning
For the personal side of finances, I aim to go the extra mile and look at all major investment category options and legal income tax reduction strategies to help you reach your goals. These can include, but are not limited to:
Ultra low-cost index ETF investments (Typically under 0.10% fees)
Cash flow positive rental property opportunities (or optimize your existing investments)
Leveraged investment strategies such as the ‘Smith Maneuver’
Income tax strategies such as ‘cash damming’ and corporate-based income tax planning
Commercial property investments
Fully managed, high return and high equity-based private mortgage opportunities
Silent minority partnerships in proven, high-yielding businesses
Ventrue capital
Not all of these methods are for everyone. Whatever youre comfortable with, or interested in exploring, the focus is on providing your best options and results.
Business Financial Planning
If you’re looking to grow your business, I aim to be a trusted financial consultant or ‘personal CFO’, focusing on planning, organizing and allocating resources where you decide best. You’re the pilot, I’m the co-pilot. I provide information, and you decide.
Weather it’s a corporation, small business, or even a portfolio or rental property, this is my specialty. I can help.
Conflict of Interest
I am 100% advice focused. I do NOT earn income from investment management fees or life insurance sales. I could care less about who manages your money other than asking the fundamental question: Is it in your best interest?
This advice-focused partnership greatly reduces conflicts of interest.
